Healthy Yogurt Smoothie Recipe



There are a lot of healthy benefits that follow the consumption of rich yoghurt in that a lot of yogurt recipes for smoothies are now on the offing. This ends up making some really tasty drinks that are now some of the popular breakfast choices and first pickup refreshments many go for after gym workouts.

If you thought they are hard to make, know that yogurt smoothies are not only easy to make but fun and any person can come up with just any smoothie recipe that has yogurt as the main ingredient. The fun in the making process is watching how fast the smoothie is created. You will definitely need an excellent blender able to chop ice cubes. Make a personal yogurt smoothie recipe by getting some unsweetened fruit juice of your choice and add it to you blender.

Half a cup is sufficient for many. Add plain yogurt, half cup, or vanilla yogurt if you like and around three quarters of a cup of fresh fruit, preferably frozen. Finally, add a couple of cubes, five for instance, a banana or half of it depending on the number of people who will take the smoothie and have all the mixed ingredients blended until they are nothing but smooth.



Changing the ingredients every now and then will help you come up with some yogurt smoothie recipe that is not only perfect but unique as well.  Also, do not hesitate to experiment with a lot of juices and fruits, frozen mostly, until you think you have created the best smoothie you have always wanted.  Additives to think about in yogurt smoothie recipes include peanut butter, flaxseed, chocolate syrup and oat flour.
